Discover the remarkable changes within the renovation of a 42,000-square-foot building, where thoughtful planning and strategic upgrades have redefined its purpose. A retail showroom, warehouse and shop for large equipment occupied 24,874 sf. The remaining footprint was shelled for future tenant space.
The equipment shop, featuring five bays including a wash bay, alongside two 14’ x 14’ overhead doors and loading docks, now stands as a cornerstone of functionality. One notable achievement of the renovation through a design-build approach, was the raising of the roof from 14’ to over 23’, enhancing the building's capabilities while preserving its structural integrity.
An essential aspect of the project was the integration of an unpaved roadway, connecting the property to the previous ADMAR shop/equipment yard. Despite the ongoing operations at the previous location, construction around the active yard was carefully coordinated to minimize disruptions.
From land clearing to drainage piping, every aspect of the sitework was meticulously executed to ensure seamless functionality. The underground installation of essential services further underscores the project's commitment to efficiency and compliance.
Throughout the process, close collaboration with the Town of Brighton for permitting and approvals was also required.
