This project focused on the phased renovation of a 156-unit affordable housing complex, with support from HUD and NJHMFA. The plan aimed to upgrade while keeping the complex operational. We added new canopies at entry points, replaced siding, upgraded kitchen features, and spruced up bathrooms. New appliances, fixtures, and landscaping were also part of the picture.
In Phase I, we made five units into accessible housing, fixed roofs, and gave the laundry room a facelift. Phase II expanded on this by converting three more units for accessibility and building a brand-new community space. This space includes a kitchen, fitness room, offices, and a maintenance shop. We also added a new playground, installed bike racks and benches, and gave the parking lot and roads a much-needed makeover.
