Overseeing the revival of the historic City Place building's first and second floors, our team managed the renovation process. These floors, previously leased by the County and now under their ownership, underwent a comprehensive transformation to meet modern standards.
The aim was to reimagine the 18,380 square feet into a functional and aesthetically pleasing office environment. Through thoughtful redesign, the space gained enhanced accessibility, a more efficient layout, and a contemporary appearance. The restored area now hosts offices, conference rooms, and collaborative spaces equipped with cutting-edge technology to encourage innovation.
This renovation facilitated the relocation of the County’s Economic Development offices, consolidating them on the renovated floors. The project involved significant structural changes, including filling in the open atrium to create a full second floor. The project included selective demolition and addressed various aspects, from storefronts, windows, and doors to HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
The result? A revamped space filled with carefully selected partitions and finishes providing an environment conducive to productivity and collaboration.
